I recognize that it's a little tasteless to stick this funny piece right before the Abu Ghraib picture, but it happened by accident when I was monkeying with the post times, and I thought it set up the emotional impact of that photo pretty well.
It kind of punctured the strange levity of the current media coverage with one of the realities of Iraq.
A little tasteless, yes, a little manipulative, yes, but I think it strikes at my goal of making Iraq more than a policy debate.
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.
