I wasn't trying to make an editorial comment on whether this was bad or good, I was just struck by the incongruity of it. Kinda like the pictures of Santa next to the troops returning from patrol.
And, Apocalypse Now still affects me deeply, so I'm sure that that played some part in it's resonance.
