Rosa Parks

Yesterday, I mentioned Branch Rickey / Jackie Robinson. Unfortunately today I have to mention Rosa Parks who died of natural causes yesterday at 92.

I've often argued that the word "courage" is devalued in our culture being used in relation to sports stars or hollywood people and being thrown around self referentially by politicians in relation to a particular vote or decision they made.

But this woman had real courage.

I'll leave it at that.
