Dear Arizona Republicans, your sheet is showing

There can really be no question of racism anymore, can there?
Arizona Gov. Jan Brewer has signed a bill targeting a school district's ethnic studies program, hours after a report by United Nations human rights experts condemned the measure.

PS. Dear AP, the election seeking race baiter gets his defense starting in the second paragraph? If it was a bill preventing blacks at lunch counters, would the second paragraph be Strom Thurmond explaining his position unchallenged?

PPS. Only white history counts, right?

  • Didn't you get the memo? It's now OK to be a "white pride" racist in America. After all, the Found Fathers indented this to be an exclusively white, norther European, protestant country. It's in the constitution I'm told.

You have to wonder if, in the end, the Confederates will have actually won. Nothing is ever "settled" when you allow something as pernicious as hate and ignorance to go unchecked.

  • I agree completely.

The best hope is that this ugly race baiting chasing of one state's votes will cost the Republicans across the country.
