Lindsey Graham blinks (sensually)
After the rather fantastic allegation (repeated frequently in the right wing press) that Lindsey Graham was backing immigration reform because he was being blackmailed for being secretly gay, it appears that Graham has blinked in the face of the allegation.
In a letter to (among others) key "family values" religious figures, he says he's now pulling out of the climate change talks because immigration is being too hurried.
Do you hear that, moral majority? He's telling you specifically that he's not being blackmailed because he's absolutely not gay.
(But he is willing to be manipulated by you if you call him gay.)
Poor Lindsey.

Stunning story. Simply stunning. Lindsey quickly folds, and the teabaggers grow ever more drunk on the feeling of victory and power...
The GOP created quite the monster, haven't they?

Wait. Graham's NOT gay? I'm confused.
I believe the sole qualification for being a Republican politician is the ability to act is submissive for right wing fetish groups.

It's really pretty incredible.
In trying to prove he can't be blackmailed over being gay, Graham proves he can be blackmailed over being called gay.

I just checked the link again. The article did not even address the threat to "out" Lindsey, and, of the 7 comments that were posted by readers, none of those mention the gay angle, either. Isn't that strange? And comments have now been disabled.
I'm beginning to suspect the right-wingers are exaggerating when they complain about the liberal bias in our media.

Well, the comments are moderated, so if an editorial decision was made that it wasn't proper to mention the gay charge, it would make sense that it's also not in the comments.
