Washington shootings:
a) Where did the gun come from? Did the shooter have the gun legally? I know he was an ex-con, but don't know if he was a felon.
b) I've already heard calls for loosening gun laws, or at least that all citizens should be armed. Apparently this would have prevented four armed cops from being shot. I don't get it.
Regarding Huckabee: Douche bag.

My observations, such as they are, are from Morning Edition (NPR).
I'm really not following this story. It seems to be "bad guy who hates cops, kills cops." I'm not trivializing the deaths. I'm just not seeing the reality-shifting "news" here. Maybe I'm just callous.

Agreed. It's a horrible story.
But there's nothing really to add except sympathy for family and friends.
