Dear right wing crazies..... Just for a minute, I'll indulge your fantasy that global warming is all some sort of great hoax and massive conspiracy....
But you'll have to answer me the question why? Why would all these thousands of scientists collude in this giant fraud? What's the motive? Some strange leftist fantasy that smokestacks are bad? That's supposed to be enough to get thousands of scientists to throw away their careers without one of them breaking the wall of silence?

These scientists are just trying to line their pockets with research dollars by creating a doomsday panic.
They're all investing in alternative energy businesses and will make a bazillion dollars if they can fool us into shifting government money away from big oil -- where it rightly belongs -- into their crazy "wind farms" and "electric cars".
Everybody knows that EVERYONE with an education -- ESPECIALLY scientists (*dripping with contempt*) -- are left wing atheists bent on controlling our lives through large, socialist governments. "Bible" colleges excluded, of course.
There isn't a conspiracy. It's just that I know more -- in my gut -- about the climate, and nature, and biology than scientists who have spent their lives studying these things.
See, God wouldn't let it happen. It's in the Bible. Like when cavemen killed off all the dinosaurs. Scientists need to quit studying "facts" and "data" and spend a little more time listening to Gods word... or to me... cause I speak for God.
Science is how the Devil tricks man and lures him away from God. Scientists are just misreading God's plan; God's signs.

Oh, so it's a giant stock market swindle. Gotta admit, I didn't see that one.
And the bible arguments....
In the wake of those emails, the climate change challengers are crowing, and I was just struck by how, despite alleging a GIANT conspiracy, they never explain exactly what it is.
