Plus they had a network. And after Fox promoted them, all the other chased because they didn't want to be called politically biased.
But apparently, there's no similar editorial pressure about gay issues. (Because they're not "real Americans.")
I want to highlight that last bit was meant as sarcasm which is sometimes difficult to convey in the blog from.
