All Cronkite needed to do was be skeptical of the Warren Commission Report on the JFK assassination and this world would be a much different place...
he was the one person (even more than LBJ) at that time who could have moved a nation to question if an internal coup had taken place. And it wasn't just a short window of time he could have done it...all the way till the day he died...all he needed to say was "I think Oswald wasn't the lone shooter" and america would have believed him...alas, he and CBS were and continue to be mocking birds...
