This is insane
In the GOP's "budget" released today, they included this graph which insanely "projects" the next 70 years. (And notice most of the difference starts at 2028, five presidential terms from now.)
Also, a technical question on the measure. The official calculation of GDP includes government spending, right?

This is like that project in high school that I put off until the day before it was due. Then, faced with the immutable deadline, I stayed up all night with colored pencils and poster board just makin' stuff up and hoping no one would notice if it cooked really impressive.
But this doesn't even look impressive. hacks.

It's just unbelievable. I don't think it helps them after all the mocking last week.

Yes, goevernment spending is included. That is one reason why wars boost GDP.
Hard to imagine that government spending could account for half the entire GDP.

Yeah. That would be that "socialist" argument they're trying to make.
It takes 70 years of made up numbers to get there.

And the numbers are based on a tax rate of 35% even though the budget gives corporations and the richest a choice between a tax rate of 35% and 25%. They assume that they'll pay the 35% due to patriotism.
