So is he stupid, or is it a stunt?

Former Klan leader David Duke has been detained by police in the Czech Republic on suspicion of denying the Holocaust....

The denial is a crime that is punishable by up to three years in Czech prisons.

  • Wow, I hadn't even heard that. I doubt it is a stunt as it is not a good strategy to expect the police to do their job here.

    Quite the opposite: I'm guessing he is surprised. The wheels of justice move extremely slow here. He could spend weeks/months just waiting to be arraigned.

  • My money is leaning towards stupid, too, but there's an ugly shrewd part of me that says with the ugly people on the rise in the US because of a black PResident, there will be plays to claim leadership of the movement..
