No, as has been pointed out, she's charismatic, but still an idiot. She doesn't understand the imagery at all and the Neiman-Marcus salesperson had a good laugh selling it to her.

That's actually a pretty good point. Before she went on, somebody likely checked he appearance, but in the chaos of the McCain campaign, can't say I'm surprised if they missed it.
