Barack Obama must be feeling pretty good....
Did Barack Obama really just drop a Sanford and Son reference in a nationally televised stump speech?
(That's one relaxed candidate.)

OK. I used The Google and found the reference... Looks like Obama conflated Sandford and Son and The Jeffersons.
Right wing blogs are beside themselves with laughter. 'Cause, you know, it's WAY more important to get your '70s TV trivia straight than to... I don't know... know the difference between Shia and Sunni. Only sissy egg heads care about that Muslim crap... I mean, when would you ever need to know THAT!?
But in all fairness, I suppose DKos diarists would be all over McCain if he conflated Fibber McGee and Molly and Amos and Andy from back whe he was in his teens.

Sorry, no link. I saw it on CNN, I think.
He said something about investing social security in the stock market, then referenced Sanford and Son ("I'm comin', Weezy.")
I really saw it.
It was right before the shared my peanut butter sandwich.
