So does this mean the McCain gamble lost on one prong of it's bet? That the mythical disgruntled Hillary backers would flock to McCain on the basis that his running mate has woman-bits?
Or is it even broader, that not only does Palin not bring in Hillary supporters, she also doesn't bring in women independents?
As side note, I thought the first Obama/Biden commercial post-Palin was brilliant. They showed Palin, acknowledged McCain has made his choice, but never mentioned Palin by name nor in anyway whatsoever. The audience is left with WTF!? Who is that young woman with McCain. Without saying a word, they raise confusion as to what McCain is doing.
EPM, I don't know if Hillary supporters was ever a serious intention. They could hardly say "we're playing defense on Republican women" or come out and say "we looked for the craziest religious right figure we could get away with."
The Hillary statements are more to control the media narrative and keep the "divided Dems" thing alive as long as they can.
....
Zen, yeah, I saw that. She'll probably get a pass on that one unless it becomes one of a string.
....
PS. Nobody else finds it funny that these "blue collar" folks just right at 40 named their kid Van Palin, you know, like the band?
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.

Think that's bad...check out Palin's response here: (brace yourselves)
Are you offended by the phrase “Under God” in the Pledge of Allegiance? Why or why not?
Palin: Not on your life. If it was good enough for the founding fathers, its good enough for me and I’ll fight in defense of our Pledge of Allegiance.
