Ridge is out. Lieberman is out.
I think Portman would be a great governing choice for him, but not a very good election choice.
I think if he picks Fiorina or anybody like that, the coverage will be mercilous that McCain is "throwing the dice" because he expects to lose.
Romney's the best pick for McCain's election interests.
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
