Once in the general election process -- and especially if Obama is the Dem nom. -- he will be under constant scrutiny. The thinness of his straight talk will be seen for what it is, and the fawning presses will become much less so.

As we approach the second decade of the 21st century, is a man who was born closer to the 19th than 21st century really the best choice to lead us to the future?
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.

I don't buy the conventional wisdom that he's going to be that strong of a candidate. Iraq, the economy, really old. Only has one delivery tone.

Actually, I think what's going to kill him is that he only has that one voice/tone.
He can't inspire, he can't do humor. I think people ar just going to get tire of listening to him.
