This Republican president has become the everything the Republican party used to ferociously argue against: reckless military international intervention, making the US the "policemen of the world" and wildly out of control spending. Ironic.

Personally, I think it's just too much power.
Our country does the best when the presidency and at least one chamber of Congress are of different parties.
