I can't recall seeing a candidate so sincerely comfortable around little children. I've seen them mugging for the cameras, but Barack seems to really like kids. I find that very comforting to know about a person who would be commander and chief. Makes me think they've got their internal (moral?) compass pointed in the right direction.

I got to be honest. The Romney photos with kids were really goo. The Clinton photos with kids are really good, too.
To me, it's really a reflection of the people who were parents versus those that had kids, you know?
Think of the Bush/children photos, and by his own admission he was absent for their early childhood.

Hmmm. I'll have to revisit this... see if I can find those other kid photos (Romney, Clinton). It's not ringing a bell. Maybe I'm just conflating all those painfully awkward Bush/Baby shots with all the other candidates.
I'll admit my fawning adoration, er, respect for Obama. LOL But forget about my comment comparing him to other candidates -- and I'll try to but my bias in check -- I've always felt Barack had/has a visceral connection with kids... even when I was on the Edwards bandwagon.

McCain doesn't generally do baby pics.
