Call me ultra-cynical but I cannot believe that this stuff is not scripted. I'm wondering that since all the fuhren-pundits have been goose-stepping to the fuhren-skippy for the last 7 years they need to regain some 'street cred' by seeming to throw McCain 'under the bus'.
Do they really want Huckabee in charge? Someone that sounds like a fundy democrat?
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.

Leave it to Newspeak to muddy the water. To hint that John McCain is not himself a member of the right is irresponsible.

ron has a good point. McCain talks big but then when the torture issue comes to ahead, or example, he caves in and gives the President everything.
Here at FDL is a good synopsis.

I've been most amazed that the media has picked up and carried the word "maverick" in relation to McCain.
Could he pick any better word?
And, I think the dissatisfaction is real, but it's more a reflection of the strict and limiting orthodoxy that the remains of the Republican party.
I mean, how big is the tent if someone like McCain can't make it in?
