Picture of the Day

(Supporters of Republican presidential hopeful Ron Paul walk, sing and shout as CNN's Wolf Blitzer sits waiting to interview Giuliani, Wednesday, Dec. 19, 2007, in Columbia, Mo.(AP Photo/Dan Gill))

(Giuliani is campaigning in Missouri?)

Later: (AP) Giuliani admits self to hospital for flu like symptoms.

(NYTimes) "...expected to leave the hospital and fly to New York later Thursday."

(It was bad enough that they turned the plane around midair.)

  • The screeching true believer squads didn't help Ralph Nader get corporate media attention. It won't help Ron Paul either. The corporate media has already decided who they'll let in to the exclusive free publicity club.

  • Wasn't intended to pimp Ron Paul except in the conviction among his minority and their sotrming the gates attitude.

I agree generally that the media should not be prejudging candidates, but he is way outside the mainstream and not just of the GOP.

  • Yeah, but it would be good if we could find a way to broaden or equalize the attention given to all the candidates.... particularly early on. Just for the sake of democracy and a free exchange of ideas. Even non-mainstream ideas.

  • I agree with the sentiment. You're talking to a guy who votes for candidates from the GOP, Dems, Libertarian and Green Party almost every election.
