This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.

'Hope' does have a ring to it. Better than 'Fear'.

True, but again, a billion dollar campaign is reduced to one word.
You may not want to vote for Barack Obama, but who doesn't want to vote for "Hope."

It probably reflects where we're at as a culture. It's aimed at people who can't deal with complex messages.
