Controlled burn
The WaPo has a front page story revealing Israeli/US "information sharing" ahead of the Syria airstrike.
As tight as this has been held by the Israeli government, I find it hard to believe that this level of detail was known outside the US's central core.
Reading this, I have a feeling this story is an authorized leak to try and keep this story from running out of control. Don't ask me why. It's just a feeling.
(Isn't Syria where Saddam's WMD went?)

It's all in what Bolton says. He is the mouthpiece.

Yeah. Did you watch that unbelievable interview on Australian TV I linked the other day?

I guess as a non-official, he can make unbacked claims that officials can't.

"....Bolton added that any Iranian strike would involve a "limited" airstrike on uranium enrichment targets rather than an invasion like Iraq."
Sure it would. Until the Iranians sink a US warship.

And, limited also includes all facilities that could be dangerous, air defense facilities, airports, command and control, bunkers.....

Do you think they get a laugh over at AEI when they write this stuff?

No, I don't. I think they believe that they're the only ones who are right and do this stuff in a crusade to "save the country."
My belief is that they see the manipulation and lying as part of that crusade.

Yep, serious stuff. I guess the latest round of tough talk and accusations is designed to coincide with more UN sanctions against Iran. It's getting close to crunch time.

Anon, who says they even have to sink one. Remember the Gulf of Tonkin?
