Powell was a stooge. He was caught telling the lies they fed him. Petraeus is on firmer ground I'd say. He can always claim he did his best.

Yeah. I just see this administration juicing Petraeus' credibility for all the can.
When he's no longer usefull, what happens to him?

If he stays out of politics something tells me Petraeus will have a job in Iraq for a long time to come.
