Saudi Arabia is ruled by a Islamic fundamentalists. Iraq was a secular regime prior to invasion. If you were, for example, a university educated women from Baghdad you wouldn't think of moving anywhere like Saudi Arabia.
Why are no migration figures shown for Iran? Since many Iranians are travelling to Iraqi religious sites for various religious holidays there must certainly be travel in the other direction by some shia population that feel threatened by sunnis.
Saudi Arabia is not really allowing refugees in, mainly due to security concerns. Pretty tough for any foreigners to be allowed in period.
Also as acoustiss notes, even if refugees were welcomed into Saudi Arabia, Christians, secular Iraqis, academics and others still would probably prefer not to seek refuge in a puritanical repressive Islamic state.
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.

Are you referring to yesterday's article that New Orleans will likely only end up with 50-60% of its population before Katrina?
