It's ironic that the oppressed almost always become the oppressor when they hold the reins of power. In fact, this was the fate of David himself.

Yeah, the photographer was going for the heroic with the lone figure and the "up" shot, but, yeah, it had the same effect on me, that's why I put it up.
That's exactly why I do pictures. They can catch and communicate content that would never be written.
(Plus, there's something dynamic about the motion that grabbed me.)
