Who are you pulling for tomorrow?
Who do you really want to win, and who do you really want to see lose?
I'm pulling hard for Tammy Duckworth in Il-06 because she really seems to be running for the right reasons and has been subject to some of the most unconscionable attacks out there.
I'm pulling hard against the wicked witch of the west Jeane Schmidt in Oh-02. You may remember she called John Murtha a coward on the House floor.
Locally, I'm pulling hard for Ellen Cohen to win my State Rep seat.

In the Senate, the guy I'd most like to see go down is George Allen, because he represents every arrogant, racist, bully I've ever known!
In the House, as a Californian, I'm hoping to rid the Congress of Richard Pombo and John Doolittle - both major embarrassments for my State!

I'd agree with allen. I'd do a happy little dance. He does encapsulate alot of those false christian values. He drapes himself in them, and then is racist and a bully. (just like Jesus, right Mr. Allen...)
I don't know pombo or doolittle that well except that both are up with investigations/ethics questions, right?

Well if I could pick, I'd take my CA - 25 Representative, Buck McKeon out.
His voting record though improving, has been atrocious.
He has refused to engage in debates set up by the seniors.
He represents the mainstreem 109th so well, but there is no chance of getting him out.
Not in that district.
By Praguetwin, at 12:54 PM
Praguetwin, I've never even heard of that guy.
That's why I asked the question.

I was banking on that. It would be interesting to do research on safe Republican seats to see what kind of slime one turns up.
Unfortunately, there is very little information out there on guys who aren't in districts that are contested

Well, I live in in Ohio, and I have felt the need to apologize for that since 2004. I will be dancing in the streets when Mike DeWine loses to Sherrod Brown, and I will kiss the bystanders when Ken Blackwell loses the gubernatorial race to Ted Strickland.
Oh yeah. If George Allen loses in VA, I may invite you all over for pizza.
Can we vote against Sam Brownback, even though we don't live in his state, and he's not on this year's ballot?

Obscurifier, I'm from Texas. We have alot to apologize for as well, Delay, Bush (sort ours), Cornyn, Joe Barton....
I certainly won't mind seeing Dewine lose after watching him toady on the committees over the last few years.
And, it does look pretty sure Blackewell will lose. Did you see his anemic rally?

And sure, Brownback can be in this discussion, this is a wish list post.

In our states governor race, I'd like to see Jennifer Granholm kick Dick deVos' ass all the way to Ada.
By Lew Scannon, at 3:57 PM
Buck McKeon is a scumbag.
I'm hoping George Allen, Tom Reynolds, Conrad Burns, J.D. Hayworth, Deb Pryce, Chris Chocola, Little Ricky Santorum, John Sweeney and Curt Weldon lose.
I doubt Reynolds will lose but the others all have a pretty good shot to go down.
And Little Ricky sure seems done.
Here's hoping.

Lew, You picked a wish that may well be granted. That's the key to happiness isn't it?
Reality, Why am I not surprised that you have alot of "hate" targets? Hah!
I won't mind seeing Santorum go either.
AND, I probably should add Musgrave to my wish list.

I agree with Lew Scannon. I'm also pulling for Jennifer Granholm to win reelection as governor of Michigan. Her opponent - Dick DeVos - is heir to the Amway fortune and poured $35 million of his own money into the race. The DeVos family is the largest contributor to the Republican Party so that tells you everything you have to know about the man.

So, this probable loss was the "payoff" to the family?
Good.

I pulling for a Dem Senate if not then a left-wing military coup. All lobbyists jailed for Sedition and several un-elected but powerful staff members put on trial for crimes against humanity. That's what I'm pulling for.

Can you imagine the lawyer rush on that one?
It would be the most expensively attired cell in history.

The crimes of the GOP, this Congress, Attorney General & GOP linked lobbyists are the most well documented and thoroughly chronicled criminal enterprise in history. Thanks to all the hardworking bloggers, writers, investigators and brave lawyers that have sorted this all out and done all the intelligence work. They will get nailed to the wall. This criminal enterprise cannot be kept up for ever. Entropy will set in eventually and it will all unravel.

You know, you make a very good point. There have been several scandals/illegal activities that have ben brought to light primarily through bloggers.
Like Duke Cunningham. Originally broken on the house sale by the San Diego paper which received a well deserved pulitzer, the true depth of the corruption and it's reach to mitchell and wade were primarily brought about by a relatively small number of blogs.
Admittedly, they have to be judged for what they are, but in several situations they have advanced corruption stories.
