These pictures of Bush remind me of those boy-kings, or inbred nobility, of old Europe. It's not only that in these casual situations (with the dog, eating ice cream...) Bush appears to be enjoying himself, it's that he appears to be in his element -- in his realm of competence, so to speak. This is in contrast to situations that require seriousness, statesmanship and the broad shoulders of a true world leader.
