Probably because they have not slept in a very long time.

Time, I was also stretching for the background. It reminds me of some background I remember from an iconic picture of an African dictator. (Maybe Idi Amin?)

Copy, yeah, completely. Even beyond their level of control, they are a target with every step, every breath, every meal, every drink.

Never know where it's coming from. and I don't think you have the guaranteed eight hours required for Ambien.
