I once read that there is a silent majority in Israel, too scared to speak out for being labeled anti-younameit, along with physical harm and the destruction of one's property. Perhaps the time is now to stand against the opressive regime, because if they don't, they'll have to fight themselves for something they don't believe in. I just hope that line hasn't been crossed yet. Same goes for the US. Draft is near. We just need a black op to set everything in motion, just like 9/11. Sorry for not being more positive in my postings, Mike.
Trust me, I'm about as negative as you are. I think everybody kindof has this feeling that we're approaching a critical mass (sorry for the unintended meaning.) Although an idea of where it's going seems to be spread a bit more. I do think there's still time to step off the path, but unfortunately, the incentives for the various leaderships are to keep going.
And, just an impression, I have nothing to back this up, but I think that there may have been a majority opposing some of the occupations (gaza west bank) and some of the tactics, but on this current Lebanon flareup I think it's something like 75/25 for.
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.

After being in a country that everyone hated for going into a war, I felt it was important to point out that not all Israelis support this.
