Graceland?
I've been wondering about this all day. Doesn't the President of the United States have more important things to do than take the outgoing Japanese Prime Minister on a day trip to Graceland?
I read somewhere there's this war thing going on.....

Keep it real, you're better off without him.
Also, he'd be away from cameras so he won't be able to do stupid faces when Cheney stages another terror attack.

The PM thinks Elvis is still alive. GWB just thought this would be a good place to break the news.

... and later, they will fly to Crawford for some brush-clerin', pretzel chompin', and bar-be-que.
After they ride around in a truck. A big black one.
Geezus: somebody give that man a JOB!

Dave, in a previous Camp David meeting, they tossed the baseball around.
Tele, I've had Paul Simon's Graceland stuck in my head overnight.

There having a good time.
Last night the Prez and the PM sang a duet together. An ELVIS tune.
The Prez gave the PM a refurbished 1950's juke box, loaded with ELVIS songs. They danced and sang.
The PM gave the Prez a bike, very expensive, from Japan.
A tour of Graceland and then off to the "Ranch."
These guys are being very gay towards each other.
OH, I remember! Japan just said YES to allowing the United States to post intercept missels in Japan. That's a first and a real concession.

I find it odd that Bush is courting the OUTGOING prime minister so hard.
But you may be right about the anti-missile missile placement because Japan just agreed to be a target in almost any major conflict the US has in the region. That's not a theoretical target through a treaty, that's North Korea or China directly launching attacks.
Good point.
