I've said it before (recently...real recently...like yesterday at Blognonymous :-) ), and I'll say it again. She's the annointed heir. If Cheney goes down, she'll be the Veep. Either way she'll be the Republican standard bearer in '08. This pic just cements it as far as I'm concerned
They sure would have to burn John McCain again to pull that off. Bush seemingly made the deal in 2004 when McCain stood with Bush not Kerry during the whole swift boat thing.
Since then, Bush has given McCain the donor's list as well as several of the loyal 2004 campaign staff.
Cheney will resign for "health" reasons. Then Bush will promote Rice to VP. Giving her a couple of year's of experience. Setting her up nicely for '08.
Got any photos of Laura and Condi? Any tension there will be telling.
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.

I've said for a long time that she is in awe of him...and if that means love...oh I just can't think of it anymore...the visuals are getting to me.

As a woman I can tell you: she is wanting it. We know these things.

Oh, dear God...
And to think, 40 years ago this would've got someone killed in some states...

I take it I'm not the only one to draw that impression from this picture.
Elizabeth, I think you nailed what I saw, the longingly leaning in. The apparent desire to touch her lips to him.
And, EPM, that still exists among some Bush voters.

My bet is that Condi is VP on the McCain ticket.

Don't think McCain can be controlled by the neo-cons...hence Rice, but you raise a good point. OK, I buy it. McCain/Rice in 08!

Zen, yeah, there were some really great tense pictures from the India trip.
It was like a freaking Junior High love triangle.
Take a look at these two pictures and tell me you don't feel the tension.
