I agree, Mike. Sometimes I think Bush is a self confident, messianic emperor, but other times -- in breif excursions into the realm of realitiy --- I think he's just scared shit-less.
In this shot, Bush just looks like a little boy all dressed up in big-boy clothes.
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.

To me, this just looked so weird. Forced, uncomfortable, awkward.
It's almost like at the moment he believed that we could see through the veneer. To me, he looks like he doesn't believe.
