I just thought it captured a sense of menace that a little cheap pinhole or fiber opic camera wouldn't.
On the new consumer ones, the camera part looks like a flexy-light and the body looks kinda like a baby monitor. Doesn't really evoke that big brother feeling.
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.

Well, surveillance cameras come in all sizes, including ones with little bitty lenses that you can't find even if you're looking for them.
So that big one in the picture might just be the decoy...
