Gaggles!
Very brief, limited(read controlled) press pool, held on board Air Force One, but at least the press secretary is holding press conferences again, yesterday and today. After that horrific one where he was torn apart and it was broadcast everywhere, he probably chose to do them on Air Force One because the news shows never broadcast those, bad camera set up.
Monday: Only one questioner on Iraq, but it looks like there were maybe five questioners in all.(Air Force One, limited press pool.)
Tuesday: Again very brief, just a few non confrotational questioners. A little more Iraq, and a question on the Iraq strategy paper that they're gonna release, two and a half years into the war.
I guess McClellan is afraid to get back on the big horse that threw him. You're gonna have to do it, Scotty, or get off the ranch.

Maybe, Maybe. For some reason, the whole Chavez/Venezuela thing has fascinated me.
The hallmarks of the last one in Venezuela were "orange Revolution" type street protests that were hyped by some of the media which want US style neoliberalism. The main mistake last time was that the coup did not have a popular leader and was seen as a tool of the very wealthy.
Whereas, Chavez has polled 60+% since taking power.
Definitely worth watching. Thanks.

it was a tool of the wealthy.
try and get a film called "the revolution will not be televised" (nothing to do with the song) about it all.

Hi Mike, Thanks for stopping by my blog and commenting. I believe we'll fold 'puppykicking'into the new Dept of Homeland Racism which was suggested by another reader. So thanks for that. I was thinking of putting it Cabinet Level, but I think this works better. If you might be interested in the position of Undersecretary for Animal Cruelty, please let me know.
Nice to find your blog here too via the comments. I'll add you to my links. Great name, by the way.
And it goes appear that 'Curveball' has broken 'right off the table'.

Michael,
I remember the series of "revolutions" that took place, and was always amazed that the spontaneous street demonstrations just happened to have GIANT 20 foot video screens behind them and top notch sound systems.
I was always curious what you would find if you traced the serial numbers on those screens. Not like alot of them are sold, so you could peg the buyer, and thus the backer for those "revolutions" very quickly. I also wondered if it was actually the same back of screens that were being transported from revolution to revolution.
And Neil, I'm still laughing at that post. I dropped a new link here for your blog. If it's all that funny, I'm gonna be there every day.
Mike
