Charges of "Nazi" and "Hitler" are becoming like Republican version of Tourette syndrome. They throw it out there like mobsters throw out the f-word in a Scorsese movie*.
The real damage may be that they're actually diminishing the historical atrocities of Hitler and the Nazi's. How many of these tea-baggers even know a damn thing about history? We now have people thinking Hitler was a socialist whose claim to evil was developing a national healthcare system in which no one fell through the cracks. The head spins...

EPM, that's the weird thing about the Hitler charge. The other day Obama cited one of the Europeans asking him about the Hitler charge. I wrote a post I didn't put up saying "...I think the Europeans might have a different experience of Hitler, no?"

Anon, except that so far, they've made no move to take away guns......
It's been a successful propaganda campaign that has helped the GOP and sold one hell of a lot of guns and ammo.
