  • Which means?
President Obama has decided on a course of action, and this Gen. does not agree?
The old Bush line, "Listen to the Generals and follow their advice." Of course instead he fired them.
I never thought that was out of line. Once a President decides what he wants to do, he should have those in command that agree, and will enthusiastically follow Presidential orders. The voters will decide if the President was right or wrong, as we did in 2008.

  • So long as the expectations are realistic, and the resources provided match, it's not wrong to shift generals.
