Unrelated personal note: trapped in NH with no power, heat, or landline. Trees fallen everywhere in the Monadnock Region. Just made it off my road after two days. Many power lines down. Trees still covered with thick ice in my area.
Staying with friends with a generator. We'd via iPod Touch and working DSL (he has land line still). I'll find out Monday if I my office 33 no away has power. There are some areas with per but it's spotty.
Temps in single digits tonight. Brrr. Thank goodness for my friends and their generator!
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.

epm - good luck with the cold. I feel silly worrying cause the temp is going below 32 tonight in Seattle! Best wishes and thanks to your friends.

EPM, Glad you're okay. As bad as post hurricane 85 and humid power out is, cold and dark power out is bunches worse.
Here's hoping you're near the top of the list.
