I have no idea if this is true, but it does paint quite a picture, George Tenet increasingly drunk around Prince Bandar's pool complaining that the neoconservatives were going to pin the Iraq intel on him.
But there's that question of whether the head of the CIA should be drunkenly ranting at a foreign national's house. I don't care who he is. Seems like a serious breach for the head of the CIA, no?
I would hope it's true. As far as the narrative goes it is possible. That Prince Bandar must be a hell of a host. The Bushes love the guy, he's like the Andy Warhol of the filthy-rich westernized Saudi oil sheiks.
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
