Is it just the camera angle, or has Fred Thompson lost some weight? He looks a bit deflated compared to news photos of a few weeks ago.

I was thinking the same thing local insurgent was. Maybe he's waiting to officially announce his candidacy until he hits that target weight.

Local, I think maybe. I've got a different shot from Iowa for later in the week that may give a better idea.
He does look alot older to me, though.

He looks like a walking skeleton.
The pictures pretty atypical swine behavior. Usually you have to keep the Boars away from the piglets cause they rip'em to shreds.

Strangely, the thinning makes him look "less substantial" and weaker.
