Can we safely say at this point that everything that the Administration worked for in Pakistan has failed utterly?
No puppet dictator, no "strong ally in the GWOT" (working against us now), aid used to increase tensions with India instead of fighting Taliban, Pakistani Constitution shredded, and the new government is taking every opportunity to distance itself from us.
What is the "plus side" here?

Now, that short term has blown back.
