Observation - A change in tone
After all the discussion of superdelegates becoming disenchanted with the Clinton campaign's tone and tactics, has anyone else noticed that in the last 24 hours the Clinton campaign has gone completely non-negative?
No nasty conference call today? No snark, no Wolfson, no Penn?
Maybe her bringing up Wright finally generated enough blowback, maybe it was the new polling on her negatives, or maybe the serious change in narrative, but suddenly, today, we have a different tone out of the Clinton campaign.
Suddenly, she's going after McCain.
I may be wrong, but something to watch.
Later: Looking at the other side, nothing really negative from Obama today either. So, I'm guessing a call was made to both sides.... but by whom?

Or perhaps the Bosnia visit 'under sniper fire' affected the dynamic?

I don't think so, except in how it played to her negatives.

I know this is outrageous, but could she possibly be starting to see the writing on the wall? Particularly now that Michigan and Florida are basically dead and the superdelegate tide is turning.
She's also risking her career. If Obama loses to McCain, she's going to face a lot of the ire as the perceived cause. As much as she may crave the presidency, I doubt she's totally done with politics if she doesn't get the nomination. It's all consulting, book signings and Bill from there.
Please please please let it be true. Maybe she does have a greater-good bone in her body...somewhere.

It's later. I just added an update noting that the Obama camp has been on best behavior, too, today.
I'm betting a call was made, although made by whom would be a good question.

OK...I admit...I called them.
