  • Seriously!? This was on a trip to Iraq?

I know I shouldn't spin a whole web of perception for a single snapshot, but... This makes me sick. It's a game to these people. A game of egos, lost youth, and manhood by proxy.

I'm reminded of the plump, pasty and detached generals from WWI. All from wealthy and upperclass families, completely detached from the ugliness of war but fanatically devoted to their own twist view of honor and duty.

God help us if we Americans put these people back in power.

  • No no no no no.

NOT on a trip to Iraq. This was their superbowl party.

Obviously misleading, I'll change the caption.

  • I apologize for my misreading of the original captions. I feel foolish.

I commented too fast... on the heals of losing the Super Bowl and not yet having had my first cup of coffee.

My general sentiment still holds, though I'm glad this wasn't taken at a Green Zone cocktail party.

  • McCain/Lieberman will be the ticket and I predict McCain will be dead by July of '09 if they're elected. That leaves Joe as Prez and then he'll pull in Wolfowitz as VP and we'll be in Iran by August.

  • EPM, I figured it was just a quick read, but I definitely didn't want to leave anyone with that impression.

    ....

Afraid, Question: How does he go?

  • Bush the First tried to get rid of Reagan with the Hinkley debacle. Especially since Hinkley's brother was going to have supper with one of the Bush siblings the night of the shooting.

It may be something dramatic blamed on Iran or a 'tragic' heart attack. It's gonna happen if Lieberman can ascend to power.

  • So, conspiracy, not age.

  • Yeah, Lieberman will be made over like the second coming when we nuke Iran. He'll have saved us all and Israel in the bargain. McCain just doesn't have the zionist 'fire in the belly' to destroy our country just yet. That takes a hardcore like Lieberman to carryout.
