Picture of the Day - Gun show, gun show, gun show

The polling must show that the "gun vote" is up for grabs.

Notice that these are the second tier candidates. Giuliani, with his history of gun control, and Romney must not have any reach into the gun community.

  • It's not really fair that anyone would expect McCain to shoulder a gun. As badly as his shoulders were broken in Vietnam it's a wonder he can hold a baby.

Huckabee definitely is clueless and Thompson. Well he's...who cares he'll be out of the race shortly anyway.

  • Hasn't Thompson rapidly turned into a joke? It was that Saturday Night Live sketch that marked the turn.

And, notice these are the second tier candidates. Giuliani with his history of gun control and Romney aren't getting these guys.

  • That folksy image thing that Thompson tries to project is as phony as Reagans sincerety.

Ron Paul is the only GOP canidate that actually has the look on his face that tells me he believes what he says.

  • Oh, he does.

He's from a nearby district down here in Texas, and I can say, if anything, he's toned it down a little.
