The blog is run by Chicago police officers and has actually been garnering quite a bit of attention for itself in recent weeks/months with breaking stories before MSM like the Chicago Tribune and Chicago Sun-Times.
Whether there was a specific threat or not, they make an interesting point.
Actually, that was the general gist of my post, that on a cost/risk vs. reaction, attacks on Christmas shopping could yield perhaps the biggest result.
In some sectors, Christmas is 50% of sales. And all people need is an excuse to deconsumerize....
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.
Updated several times a day.

Christmas bombers. I reread the article, and it did sound like one of those hype type warnings, so I figured I shouldn't propogate it.
