OK. I gotta stand up for Thompson on this. He really is a motorcyclist and this isn't a Romney-chicken-flipin' photo-op, prop shot. He's legitimate. Not a weekend warrior, but a genuine enthusiast who's got plenty of miles in the saddle.

I still wouldn't vote for him, but he's probably one of the more "human" candidates the GOP has in the pack.

It's cool, Mike. That's what separates us (you, me, other decent Americans) from the right wing: we care about what's true. It speaks volumes that a progressive blog cares about getting it right, and the Fox toady blogs care about... well, crushing dissenting voices at any cost.
