Another bad day in Iraq

(You may remember the Yazidis as the group around Mosul which stoned a young girl to death for dating a Sunni. They are not Muslim and worship an archangel that some Muslims consider the devil.)
Four suicide bombers hit a Kurdish Yazidi community in northwest Iraq on Tuesday, killing at least 175 people and wounded 200 others, the Iraqi military said.

I haven't acually checked the numbers, so I can't say what the overall violence is.
The thing I would note is that we're seeing more significant attacks. This series of big bombings.
There was the killing of four soldiers in a house explosion after they followed into a trap after one of theirs was sniped.
There have been a couple of big assassinations, and today the kidnapping of the deputy ooil minister from the ministry.
I don't know what the overall numbers are, but the significant attacks are up.
