I don't even know what to say....
Authorities arrested a Liberty University student for having several gasoline-based bombs in his car.

The student, 19-year-old Mark Ewell of Amissville, Va., reportedly told authorities that he was making the bombs to stop protesters from disrupting (Falwell's) funeral service.....

Three other suspects are being sought.

    I would like a biblical reference to authorize firebombing peaceful protesters.

  • This has nothing to do with Christianity. This has everything to do with religious radicalism.

    When you believe you're appointed by God -- a personal, earthly agent of the divine -- then those who denounce you, denounce God. Those who denounce God are evil and God will smite evil. Since God doesn't act on his own anymore it is left the the chosen to exact his judgment. Therefore there is no such thing as peaceful protesters... there are only agents of evil.

    Plug in your favorite radical religious sect here: Christian, Muslim, Hindu, Jew...

    I do think there's an underlying commentary here, but again, we're talking about someone who is obviously mentally off.
