Bush may be intellectually incurious, to a tragic degree if not criminal. But in the realm of politics he is a champion. Bush has figured out that he can do whatever he want... because he knows no one will stop him. It's as simple as that.
Which brings us to his latest taunt: ‘To oppose everything while proposing nothing is irresponsible,’ How I wish someone - anyone would develop the spine to oppose him. He is daring us to!
Can't anyone come up with an alternative plan that would shut him down??? Obviously it doesn't even need to be a good plan - just a plan that is LESS irresponsible than the one he is about to put into action.
(Sorry about the rant but I am getting rather desperate!)
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.

No one will stop him.

That's a good point.
I think the other key is to keep moving on. One outrage is lost in the next.

I think the problem is that any "counterplan" will be framed as "not leading to victory."
That's the defensive magic of Bush's current position.
His detachment from reality allows him to win any argument.
