"Thank you for sacrificing this holiday with your family so that I can save face with the American people, who want us out of Iraq. With you there I can ay victory is assured as long as we remain, and by 'we', of course I mean you, as long as we remain in Iraq to fight the terorists who would simultaneously take the oil to fund more terrorist activity and follow us home if we were to cut and run. You can rest assured that while you are over there fighting for democracy and America, we are doing all we can to eliminate any benefits for you and your family for when you return from this glorious war, one way or the other."
