I just read an article in the NYT this morning (http://tinyurl.com/yn5vgc) that says:"The Joint Chiefs of Staff are signaling that too rapid an American pullout would open the way to all-out civil war."
Shouldn't we be mad as hell about the "spot" that Bush has gotten us into??
Yes, definitely. He led us into this almost textbook definition of a quagmire.
I would add that the joint Chiefs are probably right, although the reason for the violence is that the US has created an artificial equilibrium they have maintained by force.
This is not the America I was brought up to believe in.
This blog seeks to highlight abuse of power, deception, corruption, and just plain bad ideas in government and corporations.
